Scouting for Elk

Ron got drawn this year for Elk hunting! He's so excited. Anyways, we went camping this weekend to check out the area and do a little scouting.

Mason almost took off on his own (that's why the video clip ends abruptly)! Seriously. At one point during the trip he was riding with Grandma and she made the mistake of taking her hands off the handle bars while fixing her hair. Mason grabbed the bars and hit the GAS! It was really funny to watch from behind! Joyce (my mother-in-law) just about flew off the back of the quad! She should have known better! :)

I love that our whole family fits on one quad! We had so much fun riding around and "scouting". Our boys were so funny, they could totally fall asleep on the quads. I think the vibration was soothing!
We visited a Fish Hatchery nearby. Mason LOVED it!
(This pic reminds me of that really old movie "The Incredible Mr. Limpet"?!) ha! Sorry if you've never heard of it!
Noah at the fish hatchery! :)

There were soooooooooo many fish, this pic doesn't do it justice!

Mason and Grandma watching the fish jump at them!

At night our boys had tons of fun climbing around and playing in Grandpa's trailer!

No this isn't our Elk...(we saw this one on the drive home) This is however a "5 pointer"! Ron says he'd be happy to get a "5 pointer" in November when he goes hunting?!?!? That means his antlers has 5 points! Just some useless information for ya!

Girl's Night!

My sister Maryann and I had a Girl's Night out! Our husband's were at an ASU football game so... what better excuse!
We started the night out with some emergency shoe shopping for Maryann.
Ate out at Texas Road house. YUM! (The waiter in the background was a goof!)
We tried to go to see the movie "The Proposal" but it was sold out! Bummer! So we took some pics on a nearby turtle. (Which coincidentally Maryann has 2 pet turtles that will seriously get almost this big!) CRAZY! :)
We then took care of some shopping at the mall where we finished the night off with... are you ready?
Threading! I've never had it done before but Maryann talked me into it.
Besides the fact that we left the mall:
"red faced",
it totally felt like waxing,
AND our noses were tickling like crazy from the excess hair flying everywhere...
it was AWESOME! ha!

Happy Birthday Ronnie!

Ok, so Ron's THE HARDEST person in the world to shop for! Seriously! You can't surprise him (he always guesses what his presents are no matter how I disguise or wrap them!), he's very picky (but has good taste), and returns almost everything. (He returns things when he finds out the money I spend... he's so cheap! In a good way... I guess!) Anyways! His 30th B-day is this year and I've been trying to figure out for months what to do or get him. So... long story short I bought ASU Football season tickets. Ron loves sports and I think so far he's enjoyed his present!
Ron is my best friend, a wonderful man, and an excellent Father! Thank you Ronnie for all your love and support!
Happy early 30th Babe! I love you!
My little sis. and her husband came too. We had a blast!
GO Devils!

It's Raining!

This is what Mason does in the rain!

YUM! Nothing tastes better than the rain dripping off the house! :)
Such a boy and I LOVE it!

Good-bye Daddy!

Everyday (almost everyday) when Ron leaves for work my boys look out the front window and wave good-bye to Dad. This week Noah (I'm not lying) even knocked on the window and said, "ba-bye da-da!" Ok maybe it just sounded like he said it, but it was super cute!
I went outside really quick to snap a pic. If you look you can see my dorky reflection in my cheezy bright pink robe! Ha!
