Callie's Bedroom

Growing up I had a favorite doll. My Grandma Hopkins sewed these amazing dolls, their clothes and accessories for all the granddaughters. I loved my doll and played with her lots. When I was deciding how to decorate Callie's room I knew I wanted to have my doll be a part of her room. My grandma as sweet as she is offered to sew new clothes to match Callie's room.

The little black babydoll was given to me years later as a teenager when I visited my Grandma in Idaho. Too bad the white haired doll isn't in as good of shape. I played with her hard. Don't look too close at the dirt on her face and the tangled white hair. I love the fact that my daughter will get to play with and enjoy a toy that I loved as a little girl. Thank you Grandma for such a thoughtful and wonderful gift!

This obviously isn't Callie but a really cute picture of my Grandma Maryann Hopkins.

Ron painted Callie's furniture. I'm so glad I have such a tallented hard-working husband.

Can I Hold Baby Callie?

"Can I hold baby Callie?" This is a question I have heard lots over the last few days. We hung out a lot at Grandma and Grandpa Huber's home this week. All of the cousins wanted to hold Callie. It was a very nice break for me! I could get used to this! (Callie LOVES being held. In fact she demands it sometimes.)

Lindsey and Callie!

Great Grandma Mickey turned 96 years old this week! This is her and Callie at her Birthday party.

CHEESE!

Harley, Emilie, and Callie! The "Blue" girls!

Mason and Noah really enjoyed having their cousins over to play. Noah loves yelling from the swings "Look! I'm flying! I'm Peter Pan!"

Carsen thought it'd be fun to wear Mason's Halloween costume! HILARIOUS!

Poor Tanner.

Happy Birthday Carsen! Carsen was very sweet and shared his Birthday ice cream with Noah.

All the cousins really enjoyed playing musical chairs.

This video clip is really funny! Poor Allie becomes a casualty of the game. But she handled it like a trooper!

Meow!

Ron - "Mason! Why did you do this?"

Mason - "I was trying to look like a cat?!"
Both boys were watching a movie early this morning while Ron and I tried to sleep a little longer. In our defense we've been going to bed late, plus I'm still feeding Baby Callie every 2-3 hours. Ron got up to get ready for work and found Mason like this. Kind of surprised that this hasn't happened sooner. Good work Mason.
