The Phoenix Zoo

Thanks to my sister Lisa and my good friend Sunny we were able to go the Zoo 2 times this past week. My boys LOVED every min. of it.
This is pretty much how Mason was the whole time. (Trying to climb into each exhibit! Seriously!)

Noah just LOVED looking at all the animals!

Mason and his cousins!

Mason and Bryson! Totally posing!
Mason "HUGGING," more like wrestling the goat down to the ground. All while the goat is trying to take care of business. (If you know what I mean.)
Jo Ann will definately appreciate this pic! :)

Mason just followed ALL the goats around like they needed a guide or something!
Yes! I totally set my 1 yr. old next to a goat for a video clip! Baaaaad mommy. He just absolutely loved it!

Mason a little too close to the squirel monkey! This was one of the exhibits that Mason escaped into. (Imagine that! He got past their high tech rope system!)
These monkeys are sooooooo cute!

Thanks again Sunny and Lisa! We had a blast!

The REAL Cake Crawl!

Ok so we RE-DID the cake crawl on Noah's actual Birthday! This time he was ready for action!!

Noah loved his b-day present. We hid it under a blanket and made the horse noise-sound effects go off. He went crazy and got all excited!
But when we tried to have him ride it... well... he liked to just pet it and dance with it more than actually hoping on it and rocking! Oh-well! :)

Mason on the other hand... no problem at all jumping right on!

Noah's Dog Impression

Noah started making this noise after meeting our friends dog named Dixie. Now he does it all the time!

(Ron says I need to stop encouraging it, it's not Noah's "prettiest" facial expression! :)

Mason's Birthday!

Mason turned 3 yesterday! CRAZY! When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted he replied: "A SCHOOL BUS CAKE!" He loves school buses. When we are driving around in the car he is constantly yelling, "Mom! Look a School bus!". It's so cute!
So I made him a school bus cake. Don't look too close it's a little lopsided (The School bus looks like it got into a fender-bender!)
I couldn't get him to look at the camera, he just kept counting the windows and turning the bus. (In the bus windows I put pictures of family and friends.)

We decided to do a small family and Friends party at the park to celebrate Mason and Noah's Birthday's (Noah's b-day is on the 14th).

Mason LOVES the Happy Birthday song. (He's had some practice since Ron's B-day was just 5 days ago.) I love how he sings to himself!

YUM!
This is the one and only present he opened at the party! He wouldn't open his presents he just wanted to play on the playground THE WHOLE TIME!
Seriously, he had to open the rest of his presents at home!

Ok. So, making Pinata's is VERY time consuming! I feel bad for Mason's friends and cousins. He is good at taking "turns"... but "his turns" were a lot longer and more frequent then everyone elses turn. He kept saying "Ok! My turn!". What a goof!
Ron did a great job manning the Pinata!

In my family we have a tradition were the baby gets to crawl into their birthday cake on their 1st Birthday. Noah's cake crawl was very surprising, especially considering the kid is ALWAYS hungry, NEVER turns down food, and usually not shy!
