Phoenix Children's Museum

We went to the Phoenix Children's Museum this week. It was a lot of fun but a little tough with 2 little ones! We started off in the "Noodle Forest", holy cow! That was a little scary! As you can see in the pictures it's just a bunch of noodles hanging really close together! You can't even see 5 inches in front of your face! Mason of course LOVED it! (Especially the running away from mommy part!)

We went with my sister Maddy and two of her boys. Maddy was a lot of help trying to control and keep track of Mase! Thanks Maddy!

The museum had a lot of hands on fun activiites for the kids including a little grocery market, play area, bicycle "car wash"... and much more. Towards the end of our visit Maddy and I debated whether or not to go to the craft section. Mason has a VERY short attention span and crafts just aren't his thing (I try really I do!) I am soooooooooo glad we went ahead and checked it out. He LOVED painting! I was pleasantly surprised. This house he's painting in the picture he stayed at and worked on for like 20 mins! Record! I love it!

He was so focused painting I couldn't get even one picture of him looking at me! Oh-well. We had a lot of fun taking advantage of using the Culture Pass (a pass that I got at the library for FREE!) but... I don't know that I'd pay $9 per person to go again.

  1. Oh, I'd totally pay the $9 to go again! It may help that Hallie and Abby are a little older though. Not much, but makes a dif. So funny that we went the same week!

  2. I was thinking the same thing Amy was saying after I saw her post, i thought maybe you two went together until I saw you went w/Maddy.

I need to take advantage of the culture pass and go (I'd like to take the boys to the Phx zoo as well)!

  3. That looks like so much fun. We'll have to take Colter & Mason together. They'd have a blast.

  8. It looks like you guys had a great time. I guess that all of the quick trips to the library paid off. Still, the zoo would be fun. -- I would have loved to watch Mason paint the house.

Since when does the Temple have a splash pad? It is like less than 5 minutes from my house...Awesome! I would love to teach you how to do the silhouettes! Lindsey is coming over one night to learn, let me know if you want to come!
