"I love you mom. I love you the most! I love you playing games with me and I love you going to school with me." Who's heart wouldn't be melted by those words?!?!
This is 2 days late but I don't care, I don't want forget this Mother's Day. Last weekend Ron told me "What specifically do you want for Mothers Day. I don't want to guess and then it not be something you really want." After a few of my suggestions he came up with this solution: Date night with Shelly and let's go shopping. I LOVE those kind of dates. I think Ron has really good taste and of course I value his opinion on clothing items. He took me to the mall and we shopped for a couple hours, I was on cloud nine! Then Mother's Day rolled around. I didn't really expect much because of our previous shopping trip, and I knew Ron had church meetings on Sunday. I was just thrilled that he didn't have to leave until 9am on Sunday which meant I got to sleep in, and woke up to a yummy breakfast of French toast, bacon, eggs and OJ! Delicious! My boys were so sweet. Mason and Noah were so excited to give me their gifts they had made at school. I was impressed they didn't slip once and tell me what they had made. (While organizing the boys room the day prior I stumbled onto Noah's hiding spot for my gift. Such a sweet surprise to find it tucked neatly under his bed. And NO I did NOT sneak a peak. I was tempted, but I refrained) And even Callie kept singing her own "Happy Mother's day to you" song, (Happy Birthday tune) It was adorable.
Mason worked really hard on his card and answered a few questions about me.
Mommy facts:
What's your mommy's name? Shle
What does she cook for you? Pesuh (Pizza)
What is her favorite thing to do at home?
Lay doun (Haha HILARIOUS!)
What is something she does not like to do? video games
What does she like to watch on T.V.? Vampire movies (Guilty!)
Where is her favorite place to go? bowling places (The fact that he just went to a bowling birthday party last weekend has nothing to do with this answer)
Noah made me a flower pen in a decorated cup.
Lastly, Ron brought out a paper he had typed up with questions he asked the boys about me. I LOVED this the most! Children crack me up! I think hands down my favorite comment is Mason's reply to: "What do you like most about mom?"--Haha I'm still laughing about "cleaning up for him". Lately I've been pressuring Mason to clean up after himself, and help out more around the house. Let's just say he's not always thrilled to be obedient on that one.
