"Fun Splash"

Mason and I went to Sun Splash Water-park today! Mason calls it "Fun Splash" too cute. I haven't been there since I was a kid myself. I had arranged for my friend Amber to watch Noah and Callie so Mason and I could play hard! THANK YOU AMBER! (Seriously, the greatest friend and neighbor you could EVER ask for.)We had such a blast and got to go with our good friends Lindsey and Colter, which made for an awesome double date.

    

 Mason is my little dare devil. He really is fearless, and I LOVE that quality about him he is very self-assured and confident.

One particular slide looked a little questionable. The only way I can describe it is that it starts as a skinny tube (no inner tube for this ride) your body is propelled down this tube REALLY fast and into what looks like a giant toilet bowl. From there you going around and around the bowl until you reach the center and are DROPPED into this waterfall area and a pool. Very confusing and a little scary since you don't know what to expect or even where you are going. After I rode this once I had had enough and wasn't too interested in going on it again. Mason on the other hand wasn't even out of the water before he yelled "That was AWESOME!!!!"

I knew he would have lots of fun but never imagined I myself would have such a great time with my little wild one. Lindsey and I thought for sure 2 hours would be plenty of play time but as the time concluded I found it hard to leave! Fun Fun Fun!

My only regret is the pictures. I was really excited to take my waterproof camera and I used it constantly (I even came prepared with extra batteries and took it with me on most of the slides) but sadly I had it on the wrong setting and ALL the pictures we took turned out blurry. So sad!

As we were leaving and driving away Mason looked back and said with a sigh "I've always wanted to go there."
