This year for the Family Reunion we went back to the "Gratitude Lawdge" in Heber, AZ over Spring Break. This cabin is so great! Lots of room for our whole family. The kids got to play nonstop with their cousins and Adults got plenty of late night card games and hanging out! Last time we were at this cabin (2 years ago in June) we experienced record heat. This time around it was unseasonably COLD! Too funny to have such extremes in weather there was snow, ice and lots of wetness.
Friday afternoon a few of us ventured out to the Petrified Forest National Park. The views were very interesting and unique. It's in the middle of nowhere and a super flat, dry grassland environment. We took a short hike in the "Crystal Forest". I couldn't believe how windy it was!
April LOVED playing in the snow and cracked us up every time she threw a snowball yelling "Snowman fight!" I was pretty proud of our snowman creations.
I even talked some of my siblings into a yoga session. My family is so much fun!
The kids spent plenty of time outside building and setting up their "fort"
Callie's Birthday was on Friday and we had a small celebration for her. Cupcake decorating and some photo booth sessions. Callie, Ella, and Kate were inseparable and too cute together.
Maryann and Nate brought a hilarious Game "Who's the Dude" it's basically Charades with a blow up manikin. I have never laughed so hard in my life.
