My Dress-up "Doll"

Ok... So I watch one of my best friends kids on Thursdays (Lindsey). She has 2 kids, Colter (3 yrs. old) and Sydney (3 months). I love it when they come over. Our kids play so well together (Mason and Colter are inseperable best friends), plus I get to watch a new baby girl. I think I have a little too much fun. Today I painted Sydney's toes and mine to match! (Yes I know I am totally cheezy!) But how cute is this!
I was talking to my sister Maryann about my day and she laughed at me and said, "Don't you just love having a doll that you can dress up!?" And yes I really do!
Sydney is such a good baby! Very happy ALL the time!
Doesn't her dress look so cute?!?! Apparently I put it on backwards. Oops! Ha! Ha!
I guess you can tell I'm a mom of ONLY BOYS!Here she is giving us a show!
I couldn't get a picture of all the boys and Sydney but... I did manage to get this really cute video clip of Noah reading to Sydney.

Football game with a 3 Year-old = an ADVENTURE!

Ron took Mason to the ASU football game this past weekend. I know Ron was a little nervous taking a 3 year-old to a college football game. But I think Mason did pretty good?!?!?
Mason just idolizes his Dad, so of course he was excited to hang out with Daddy at a football game!
These pics where taken on Ron's phone, sorry if they are blurry!
It was kinda hot (and of course we forgot sunblock for Mason!) So... Ron improvised with the ASU game program! I guess Mason actually kept the program on his head for quite a while!
After the first quarter was over Mason got antsy so they walked around the stadium for a while. That's when Mason got the face art done. I'm shocked he held still long enough for them to finish!
Ron said that Mason was really funny at the game. When people around him would yell or cheer Mason would then yell or cheer! He caught on quick and copied the crowd's reactions to the game.
On the drive home, Mason fell asleep. (Exhausted from all the fun!). I got a couple pictures of him asleep on Ron's shoulder (so cute!) but I can't seem to find them?!?! Oh-well!

Happy Halloween

I LOVE Halloween! I think it's my favorite Holiday!
Thanks to my sister Maddy I had an adorable Dragon costume for Noah (that BARELY fit!) So of course I had to make Mason a Knight (I have to enjoy picking out my kids costumes while I still can!)
It was really hard to find a Knight costume so... I improvised, made his costume myself and accessorized it with dollar store items! Whoo-hoo!
Our ward's Trunk or Treat was a lot of fun!
Mason and Aubrey!
What a beautiful Mermaid!
The costume parade!

The Phoenix Zoo

Thanks to my sister Lisa and my good friend Sunny we were able to go the Zoo 2 times this past week. My boys LOVED every min. of it.
This is pretty much how Mason was the whole time. (Trying to climb into each exhibit! Seriously!)

Noah just LOVED looking at all the animals!

Mason and his cousins!

Mason and Bryson! Totally posing!
Mason "HUGGING," more like wrestling the goat down to the ground. All while the goat is trying to take care of business. (If you know what I mean.)
Jo Ann will definately appreciate this pic! :)

Mason just followed ALL the goats around like they needed a guide or something!
Yes! I totally set my 1 yr. old next to a goat for a video clip! Baaaaad mommy. He just absolutely loved it!

Mason a little too close to the squirel monkey! This was one of the exhibits that Mason escaped into. (Imagine that! He got past their high tech rope system!)
These monkeys are sooooooo cute!

Thanks again Sunny and Lisa! We had a blast!

The REAL Cake Crawl!

Ok so we RE-DID the cake crawl on Noah's actual Birthday! This time he was ready for action!!

Noah loved his b-day present. We hid it under a blanket and made the horse noise-sound effects go off. He went crazy and got all excited!
But when we tried to have him ride it... well... he liked to just pet it and dance with it more than actually hoping on it and rocking! Oh-well! :)

Mason on the other hand... no problem at all jumping right on!

Noah's Dog Impression

Noah started making this noise after meeting our friends dog named Dixie. Now he does it all the time!

(Ron says I need to stop encouraging it, it's not Noah's "prettiest" facial expression! :)

Mason's Birthday!

Mason turned 3 yesterday! CRAZY! When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted he replied: "A SCHOOL BUS CAKE!" He loves school buses. When we are driving around in the car he is constantly yelling, "Mom! Look a School bus!". It's so cute!
So I made him a school bus cake. Don't look too close it's a little lopsided (The School bus looks like it got into a fender-bender!)
I couldn't get him to look at the camera, he just kept counting the windows and turning the bus. (In the bus windows I put pictures of family and friends.)

We decided to do a small family and Friends party at the park to celebrate Mason and Noah's Birthday's (Noah's b-day is on the 14th).

Mason LOVES the Happy Birthday song. (He's had some practice since Ron's B-day was just 5 days ago.) I love how he sings to himself!

YUM!
This is the one and only present he opened at the party! He wouldn't open his presents he just wanted to play on the playground THE WHOLE TIME!
Seriously, he had to open the rest of his presents at home!

Ok. So, making Pinata's is VERY time consuming! I feel bad for Mason's friends and cousins. He is good at taking "turns"... but "his turns" were a lot longer and more frequent then everyone elses turn. He kept saying "Ok! My turn!". What a goof!
Ron did a great job manning the Pinata!

In my family we have a tradition were the baby gets to crawl into their birthday cake on their 1st Birthday. Noah's cake crawl was very surprising, especially considering the kid is ALWAYS hungry, NEVER turns down food, and usually not shy!
