We actually got all the Christmas decorations down yesterday and decorated. (I am usually not this fast!) Ron hung up the Christmas lights outside, then we put up the tree, and set up the other decorations. As we were setting up Mason and Noah kept chanting "Happy, Merry Christmas! Happy, Merry Christmas!" Too cute.
I love this time of year. The Christmas music, the Holiday spirit, and especially the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. My Family has a Thanksgiving tradition every year before we eat we pass a bowl of candy around the table and everyone says what they are thankful for. When the bowl got to Mason he surprised me by saying he was thankful for "Jesus!" What a sweet little reminder of the real meaning of the season.

That's cute! And that's a very pretty tree! Our house is all done being decorated too, except we still have to go out and buy a tree. Little kids want December to go by fast, but I hope it goes by really slow. It always goes by waaay too fast!
ReplyDeleteHow cute. Sounds like you are going to have a long month. Colter keeps talking about getting a bike from Santa. I don't think he realizes it's still several weeks away.
ReplyDeleteYour boys are too cute! Love the decorated tree and presents, maybe that is all they are expecting this year. You could skip toy shopping!
ReplyDeleteWow, your boys are so cute. The Christmas decorating and all the talk about Christmas. For me, I am just praying the tree is not attacked. My boys are the opposite where they feel they need to remove the ornaments because they just have to play with them.
