Ok. I figure if I write them down then I HAVE to follow through with them! My New Year's Resolutions are very similar to past resolutions!

1. I want to study my scriptures more (DAILY)! My goal is to not sit down to watch TV or a movie until I have done my scripture reading for the that day! Hopefully that will motivate me a little more. The problem is I don't watch TV every day... hmm maybe I will read the scriptures before I floss or something?!?! haha

2. I really want to focus on a healthy (but yummy) eating lifestyle. With my boys getting older and my children multiplying I really want them to have the best start for life. Since I can't really go back to school right now I have decided to teach myself and study about Nutrition. I plan on studying 1 book on healthy eating/nutrition each month... So far I'm on page 2 of the Book
"SUPERFOODS The Healthiest Foods on the Planet". I better get cracking the month of January is already halfway over!

3. I am not very good with home decorating. In fact I'm so bad that I just don't do anything. So I want to work on improving my home a little more. I plan on using and abusing Pinterest and copying others ideas. I have already made this really cute Valentines wreath thanks to a friends' craft night! I LOVE it and wish that Valentines Day lasted all year long so I don't ever have to take it down!
Wowzers! We pretty much have the same goals this year. I am even telling myself no tv until the scriptures are read. I am failing already though...maybe we can motivate each other to be spiritual, healthy and crafty this year!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Grass fed beef is a must then if you eat beef. Beef you get in the store is grain fed., which is an unnatural diet for cows, and it makes the cows unhealthy. Trader Joe's, Sprouts, or US Wellness Meats have grass fed beef. It's pricey but the meat is better for you.
ReplyDeleteyou better find me on Pintrest so i can follow you!
ReplyDeleteWHAT!?! I have to take the heart down after Valentines day! :) Sounds like good doable goals!
