Ward Campout!

 

We went on our ward camp out this past weekend in Pine, AZ at Pivot Rock camp site. It was a lot of fun! Probably my favorite part was just sitting around the camp fire til 1:30am talking and hanging out.

 Callie was a little hard to handle, she was scared of the tent (wanted noting to do with it.) But she did ok, especially once her best friend Lacey got there!

Noah really enjoyed hanging out with his friends and exploring the campsite.

 Brother McKay of course set up his zip line for all the kids. Mason spent most of his time here. 

 

We went on a beautiful hike to the cave at Pivot Rock. The hike was a little long for little ones, but we made it! Callie crashed on Ron's shoulders! Too cute!

I love this little cave but I have to admit at one point I did get a little claustrophobic. There was a lot of bodies in this little cave with small walkways and crawl spaces. Both Mason and Noah loved it too! My good friend is almost 9 months prego and I was impressed she was able to get in and out of the cave. I have an awesome picture of her crawling but I know she would KILL me if I posted it! :)

As Noah was trying to crawl out of the cave poor guy hit his head on these rocks (pictured below). His head started bleeding so we crawled out to investigate. I don't get squeemish around blood but when it's my own child and blood is dripping down his head it made me nervous. We cleaned him up and discovered it was just a small puncture. Whew! He was a trooper about it, I haven't heard him complain about it since!

  

All in all we had a blast at Pivot Rock and hope to take the family back there soon!
