30, flirty and thriving!

Yes I turned the big 30 last week! And I have mixed feelings about it! I don't really feel different but 30 just sounds so OLD! Since my birthday was on Monday we celebrated it all weekend long. I liked to think of it as a celebration of my 20's, and NOT turning 30! :)

I had a very nice "Birthday weekend" filled with shopping, eating out and visiting with friends. Ron took me shopping (I love shopping with him he's so good at picking out things that will look good on me. Although his taste is a little more expensive than mine but... like I said he has good taste!)

I had a friend ask me what the highlight of my 20's was. That's a tough one. My first answer was getting married! clique! I know. But as I thought about it more I decided that there really wasn't one defining great moment in my 20's but a series of events that just kept getting better and better. Cheesy I know but I really do feel like my life as much as it is changing and progressing it just keeps getting better and better. So that's my answer and I'm sticking to it!
On my actual Birthday I got a sitter and went to lunch with my best friend Lindsey and my sister Maddy! We went shopping and hung out afterwards. I honestly believe that you are are only as old as you act. And judging from these pictures I think we are still 17 years old! I really had a nice birthday and I think am ok with being old and leaving my 20's behind!
ROAR!

Mason made me this birthday card! Such a sweetheart! Our Nanny Brianna helped him and it really means a lot to me! Mason doesn't sit still for very long periods of time, so I know he must have really wanted to make this for me. He was really excited to finally give it to me on my birthday! He kept telling me for days that he had a surprise for me. (And he wouldn't tell me either! I tried really hard to get it out of him!) I love it!
