Noah's Music/Callie's Mother's Day Program

Noah's Let's play music recital was this last week. This darn kid won't smile on stage to save his life! I even bribed him with ice cream... no luck. In primary he likes getting called up to the front to help with music (like every other kid in primary) but also refuses to smile. I am not sure what it means. I really don't think he has stage fright or anything like that. He's super confident and participates. I think he is just stubborn and doesn't want to. He did fabulous and memorized his recital pieces. This year really has been really nice with him in music. He practices with out being asked. I don't EVER help him with his music theory homework (I check it and he always does it right).I love how self motivated this kid is. His primary teachers told me this week when they asked him what his favorite things was that he did during the week his reply was "homework."... crazy kid.

Callie had her Mother's Day Program at pre-school this week. This is my favorite tradition. I remember when Mason participated in this it was so fun! I loved seeing her at school with her friends performing and singing to ME! She was so sweet and super excited. She picked her outfit out and everything.

 "Skidamarinki dinky-dink... I LOVE you!"
 "You are my Sunshine!"
I really like that she loves me more than bugs.
